This inaugural event will include dozens of Civil War era reenactors. Camp life, infantry, artillery, cavalry drills battles and firing demonstrations will bring the period to life. Musical performances, children's activities, authors, military artifact displays, food and vendors will provide a weekend full of learning and excitement for all ages!
Wilton's annual Parkfest Celebration will take on a Bicentennial flair with period characters, crafters, games, music, photos and more. You won't want to miss our annual summer celebration "kicked up a few notches" in honor of our 200th birthday year.
Old churches and cemeteries, the old Wilton Grange, Grant Cottage on top of Mt. McGregor, and Camp Saratoga at Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park are among the highlights of the Wilton Historic Sites Tour on Wilton’s bicentennial anniversary weekend.
The Bicentennial Historic Weekend is also host to a variety of family-centered, educational and fun-filled activities from 10am - 3pm on Saturday and Sunday April 21-22 at Camp Saratoga on Scout Road in Wilton
Historic Weekend Celebration kicks off with a the reenactment of the First Town Meeting reenacted by the Captain Giles Kellogg’s Company of Artillery plus a showcase of Wilton's civic groups and organizations at the fountain area of the Wilton Mal
Our Bicentennial Year kicks off with an elegant cocktail event at the newly renovated McGregor Links Country Club on Saturday, January 27th from 6 to 10pm. The evening will include tastings provided by a variety of Wilton's select restaurants, a coffee and dessert bar, and music by Jeff Brisbin. Attire for the evening is Business Casual/Cocktail.
