Wilton 200 Kids' Quest

Kids are invited to join the fun of learning about Wilton history and earning a Wilton bicentennial patch.

The Wilton 200 Kids’ Quest adventure will launch on Wilton’s bicentennial anniversary weekend, April 20-22, 2018! Kids can complete the adventure trail anytime between that weekend and the end of summer.

Register online or in person starting the evening of Friday, April 20th at the bicentennial anniversary program at Wilton Mall. Youth, teachers, family members, or group leaders may register an entire group of participants. There is no fee, but youth need to be registered to meet the requirements and earn the patch. Participants will receive an information packet with all the details when they register.

In general, the Kids’ Quest Adventure Trail has three parts:

  • It starts with a visit to the Wilton Heritage Museum.
  • It continues on a path each youth chooses from six options.
  • It concludes with a wrap-up activity.

Note that after the museum visit, kids can pursue virtual and/or in-person paths. The information packet has lots of great ideas to guide participants.

Along the way, kids will showcase the fun through visuals and journaling in a digital or paper scrapbook. Show the scrapbook to earn the patch.

Wilton Boy Scout Troop 24 developed Wilton 200 Kids’ Quest. Scouts are excited to learn about Wilton history and to give other kids the fun of discovering what life was like in Wilton long ago.
